Collectively, there are now 12 ALBUMS and 4 more in the making. Every album has its own identity to show the diversity amongst Blukolar’s associates and friends. From spiritual hip hop to underground styles and from gangsta rap to r&b albums, the Blukolar Politiks got it. There is also plenty of merchandise that is available for sale online and at shows. Besides 10 fully wrapped c.d.’s and 2 freebie c.d.’s, there are stickers, posters, business cards, and flyers along with t-shirts, and hoodies for purchase and give-aways.

CIRE
An emcee , beat maker, engineer, producer, promoter and graphic designer. Cire’s foundation was “Ethnics” (’96), a lyrical duo with Kwal,( r.i.p.) He then worked with a live band “Optica” from ’97-98. In ’97 he was offered to go to his first professional studio and record a song with a friend and his cousin, later forming “Sol Fx”. After recording there 1st 8 songs at Apocalypse Cow, Cire and Sol fx had an opportunity in 2001 to travel to Georgia and perform at a theme park (wild adventures), opening on second stage for artists such as K.C and JoJo, Collective Soul, and Jo Dee Messina. He has also done shows with and opened for Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Eddie and Jobo (b96), Bo Deal, Dj Vdub (107.5), Dj Showtime, Dj Frea and others. Cire has been consistently doing shows in Chicago, from the city to the sticks since 2006 and now has over 500 shows under his belt.

Cire currently has 3 solo albums he produced, for “The Storm Collection”. With styles ranging from emotional poetry “The Calm B4”recorded in ‘04, to gritty underground “The Eye Of ” recorded in ‘05”, along with a combo album called “The Perfekt Storm” printed and released in ’07 (the cover has a mri image of his actual brain on it). The forth and final cd of the storm collection “The Wake” is set to be released spring/summer 2010. This album has more of an industry standard sound with a rougher edge and some dance tracks. Cire’s 5th solo album is a dedication to the parents of eighties babies “All grown up now”, this album mixes rock samples with a hip hop twist. Other albums he has been a major part of are, Dj Eye m1 “Makin up 4 lost time”, Beautiful Thing “A”, Sol Fx “Cant let go”, Cire-Dna “Sol-Spektrum” and Snake C “Prisoner of eternal judgment”.

DJ EYE M1
This is CIRE’s alias for his sample based beat making. In 2009 he released DJ EYE M1 “Makin Up For Lost Time” vol. 1. This album is based around childhood’s babysitter (T.V.). There are 10 tv/hip hop tracks all mixed down into one another. Featuring 8 lyricist’s including CIRE, Vortex, North, Lazy, Snake c, At Won, Eloquence, Eli, and the human Beatbox, Soundwave. Cire as DJ Eye M1 produced, recorded and mastered the entire project. He also created all artwork, along with printing and completing the final product. “Makin up for lost time” vol. 2 will be released in 2011. Again a tv sample based album starring all of the Blukolar Politiks and more…

The the 3rd sample based album almost ready for release is DJ EYE M1’s “All Grown Up Now”, which is a mix of hip hop beats and 70’s to 90’s rock samples. Cire laces the tracks with upbeat and fun lyrics. A true dedication to the music Cire was raised with. Set to be released early 2010.

SOL FX
Besides all the solo albums and complitation work Cire/Dj eye m1 does, he works with 2 groups within the kolar. In 2000 he connected with long time friends/fellow musicians and started a crew called SOL FX, which is CIRE, lyricist and percussion, North aka Data, lyricist and singing and DNA aka Vortex, lyricist, singing, and composition. This group is unique and has a distinct sound revolving around spirituality accompanied by soulful singing, live instrumentation, and heart felt hip hop. The 3, as a group, have performed over 300 shows from Chicago to Georgia and released an album called “Can’t let go” which has songs from 1997 to 2003 and was finally released in 2005. Sol fx, whether separate or connected, have recorded plenty of other songs for the BLUKOLAR.

BEAUTIFUL THING
CIRE as Vincent Van Flo, and LAZY as The Brain, came together to form “Beautiful Thing”. They recently dropped a self titled album with 7 positive jazzy acoustic hip hop songs. Featuring DNA and his windpipes, from SOL FX as a special guest. Cire did the drumming, recording, engineering and mastering and designing of the album, and Lazy did the piano’s, guitar’s and co produced the project. Lazy also performs with CIRE in most of his solo sets as a hype/back up man for a better live experience.

DNA

CIRE helped finalize, master and release a solo album for DNA of SOL FX self titled “DNA”. This is an alternative r&b love song album. Cire is featured on 1 song “Love Slips Away” as a lyricist  and laid the drum tracks. This track also features North aka Data as a vocalist and Cire designed the cover art. Dna and Cire also did a duo project in ’05 called “SOL-SPEKTRUM”. This was an experimental album. Dna on the melodies and Cire on the rhythms, along with recording and engineering the project, Cire designed the cover art.

DNA has a new alias VORTEX, he has been creating various style beats for the Blukolar Politiks . The newest up and coming album “BLU GENES and GUITARS” is being co-produced by Cire and will feature all of the Blukolar emcee’s. This album will have guitar on nearly every song. Some with a twang, some eerie, some upbeat, all lyrical, and some singing. This is truly, a unique, experimental album.

SNAKE C
Cire produced, recorded, engineered, mastered, designed, and printed the Snake c E.P. “Prisoner of Eternal Judgment” released by BLUKOLAR POLITIKS. Snake has a true to life rough edge with more of a gangsta appeal. CIRE is featured on this album as well, making guest appearances on 2 of the 4 songs. A full length album is still in the works. You can here SNAKE C on other songs as well through out the various Blukolar productions. Snake retired his kolar early ’10.

ATAFAL
After various e.p.’s, Atafal recently finished (his longtime in the making) first complete album “LET IT MARINATE”. As he did, the album was released in ’09 under the kolar. CIRE mastered and blended the tracks, and also produced and recorded “ONCE AGAIN” for the album. Atafal aka AT WON is also featured on other tracks through out the Blukolar repertoire. Atafal retired his kolar mid ’10.
